Need advice about baby fish?

Hi we have had a tropical fish tank now for a month about 2 weeks ago we brought a few fish this morning I have noticed 3 tiny baby fish, do I need to do anything special to keep these baby fish alive thanks for any adviceNeed advice about baby fish?
Fry from fish and how to care and raise them vary from species to species and by far, you don't really have a all in one care package. Sometimes the fry, (thats babies) need to be housed away from other fish as they become targets as food for other fish. Seperating them out to an isloation/nursery tank is in many cases a good thing. Also to consider, some cichilds are active tending parents and look over thier fry so not much is needed to be done there. It would help to give you accurate advice if we knew what species of fish that had the babies. Mollies for example are known to eat thier own fry...why I have no idea, but it does happen.

Before you go really far into care, consider long term housing here. My point being, you now know you have a breeding pair of something in there, and this most likely wont be the first time you find babies. Where are you going to put all your extra fish? If you have a giant tank then I am sure it will be awhile before you reach your maximum bio load, if not, what plans do you have to keep and raise the fry?Need advice about baby fish?
I had a special net to put in my tank, and when the pregnant fish looked ready to pop, I would put here in there until the babies were born and then take the mother out again and leave the babies there until they were about 3 weeks old. I had lots and lots that way and they were great.
make sure the fish grows to a good size if u want to put a bigger fish in there because a big fish would eat the little tiny fish
If its not practical for you to get another tank buy a fish breeder keep them in it for a few weeks until they get a little bigger and at that point buy the dense plant there a plant called cabomba or something similar and that works quite well. and hope for the best most of the fry have probably been eaten if you can only see three.
I would buy a breeding net. It protects the baby fish from other fish from eating them. You can buy them at Walmart or a pet store. Mine is a green net and clips on the fish tank.
Hey depends what other fish you have you could separate them for a while to let them get a bit bigger so they dont get eaten or if u have plenty of rocks that then can hide in I think your ok. Enjoy your new fishies!
Odds are very high the babies are from a live bearer such as a molly, platy or guppy. In this case the only things you will need to do is offer them places to hide from the adults (which will eat them) and feed them finely crushed flake food. Most pet stores carry breeder nets that hang in your tank and will offer shelter to the baby fish.

Sounds like you have guppies, swords and / or mollies (all live breeders).

Put in a lot of dense plant material (real or otherwise) where they can hide from the bigger fish (parents will eat the babies). Alternately you can buy a ';fish breeder'; which is a small plastic box that hangs on the side of the tank, to allow circulation, but also protection.
id keep in a seperate tank incase they are eaten by the adults, but it depends on breed of fish
separate tank until larger, same as above - depending on species. read up on species on the net, loads of great sites
