Need some advice about windows media player - burn settings?

when i try to burn music files to a disc i get an error message telling me to either try another brand of blank discs or lower the recording speed and ive done both, have my settings been changed? it worked a few wekks ago?Need some advice about windows media player - burn settings?
Try downloading the latest version from microsoft, I have had errors on older versions and they have always dissapeared with a new version. Sounds a long way round, but hey this is microsoft!!Need some advice about windows media player - burn settings?
reinstall the windows media player. then try.or better try some cd burning software.
I recommend re-installing windows media, i had the same problem and this sorted it out...

Click access applications menu - view options click audio DSP look for


plug ins.It will go to DFX6 DFX8 update will be there -download.
id suggest you change all settings back to default incase someone has changed them
I had the same problem, mine is a dvd-cd combo. I ran a cleaning disk in it for a dvd player and my problem went away.
