Need advice about a formal please?

i have been invited to go to a friend's formal with him, and i want to go but he likes me as more than a friend and i dont feel the same way, so how can i let him know that i assume we are just going as friends without being mean?Need advice about a formal please?

When you bring up the formal, try to be confident, and firm, but don't use a harsh tone. Likely, you will be nervous, and he will be hurt. Try not to focus on these things, only of what needs to be said. Let him know you don't mind going with him, but you want to make it clear that IF you go, it will be just as a friend.





9 times out of 10, he'll still be hopeful for a future. It's regrettable, but sometimes, to get over pain, we need to become numb to it. Depending on what kind of guy he is, you may have to remind him, you are not interested. Or, if he really doesn't care about you, he may give up and eventually disappear.

there is no nice way to say your not into someone.. when they are into you...





so i say whenever the subject arises.. make subtle hints.. so he gets the point... he will eventually..





im sure youll do good.. as you are a nice person..


so its not up to you how he will react.. dont take that upon yourself..
